Bigger Than Me: Just When I Thought I Had All The Answers, God Changed The Questions
Many have bought into the lie that the good life is a showy one. Yet the greatest adventures come when we stop living for self and what the world says is important – and start living for things that really matter. Nothing is duller than one more bag of money, one more business conquest, or one more round of earthly pleasure. Speaking from the heart with humor, thoughtfulness and transparency Ward will encourage you in your faith as he reflects candidly on his life as a businessman about money, ego, truth, busyness, solitude, legacy, dying, faith, gratitude and much more.
Ward Brehm is a Minnesota businessman who founded The Brehm Group. In 2004 President Bush appointed Brehm to be Chairman of the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) and was reappointed in 2010 by President Obama and he continues to serve under President Trump. In 2008, Brehm was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal – the country's second-highest civilian honor – for his work in Africa at an Oval Office ceremony.
Brehm brought his message as an advocate for the poor in Africa to the 2008 National Prayer Breakfast and was the first person from the business community to ever be asked by Congress to address this annual gathering in Washington DC. Brehm is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations and was recently appointed to the board of Advisors to USAID. He is the author of three books, Life Through A Different Lens, White Man Walking, and the recently released , Bigger Than Me ( just when I had all the answers, God changed the questions).
