Phoebe Miles founded the Cade Museum for Creativity + Invention is also co-founded the Gloria Dei Foundation, a nonprofit that awards grants to organizations that promote the common good in accordance with Christian principles. Both were endowed by her parents, Dr. Robert Cade and Mary Cade. Dr. Cade, a University of Florida researcher and physician, is best known for leading the team that invented Gatorade. A native of Gainesville, Florida, Phoebe has lived overseas with her diplomat husband in Nuremberg, Germany; Bridgetown, Barbados; Berlin, Germany; and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Fluent in German and Spanish, she earned BAs in History and German from the University of Washington.
